Former BJP MLA detained in assault case in Jammu

Jammu: Former BJP MLA Gagan Bhagat was arrested on Thursday in an alleged assault case here, police said.
Bhagat was arrested for allegedly manhandling Sarpanch in block Miran Sahib, reports said.
Police has also confirmed his arrest.”We have arrested him in court premises, when he was about to present himself to get bail.”
