Unknown gunmen shot dead woman SPO in south Kashmir

Srinagar : Unknown gunmen on Saturday shot dead a woman Special Police Officer (SPO) in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
Official sources said that a female SPO identified as Khushboo Jan, a resident of Vehil village of Shopian district was fired upon by unknown gunmen at her house in Vehil Village, leaving her critically injured.
Soon after the incident, Khushboo was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared as brought dead.
Meanwhile, Police have taken the cognizance of the incident and searches have been launched in the village to nab the attackers.
