Cross LOC trade facilitation center hit by shells in Poonch, trade suspended
Poonch: Trade facilitation centre (TFC) Poonch, the operational center of cross LoC trade came under intense mortar shelling on Wednesday afternoon as cross LOC exchange of gunfire continues in the region.
Reports said that during intense mortar shelling afternoon shells fired landed in the compound of the TFC.
“Panic spread in the centre as explosions and smoke shook the TFC,” he said.
Meanwhile, officials said that trade was suspended immediately. No loss of life was reported in the shelling.
