Speeding tipper hits and kills elderly woman in north Kashmir’s Langate
Srinagar: :A 50-year-old woman died in a road accident in Langate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
A police official said that Saleema Begum was critically injured after the motorcycle she was riding as a pillion was hit by a tipper at main market Langate.
The deceased was a resident of Safalpora Qaziabad, he said, adding that another person who was riding the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Police has registered a case and taken up the investigation, he said.
