NC takes out potest rally against Pulwama killings
Srinagar: Police on Thursday foiled a protest rally of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference taken out to protest against the recent civilian killings in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The NC workers led by the party general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar marched through the TRC juncture road but were stopped by police from moving ahead at SK park at poloview. They returned peacefully towards their party headquaters Nawa-e-Subah.
Scores of policemen and CRPF soldiers clutching rifles were deployed on the roads from where the marchers moved through.
