CRPF bunker removed from Amira Kadal after three decades
Srinagar: Authorities on Tuesday removed a CRPF bunker constructed soon after the onset of militancy in 1992 at the busy Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar.
Local residents and businessmen have hailed the move which they said was their long-pending demand.
The bunker which have been there since ‘90s was occiped by CRPF. They had encroached a large portion of space in the commercial hub.
Srinagar city Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu said a park will be developed on the cleared site.
