Central Government and the State Governor have started taking lot of steps to enhance the possibility of normalcy and peace, by trying to provide opportunities and justice to the youth of Valley. At the same time the Central Government is trying to shrink the support of Hurriyat and militants in entire Kashmir in order to isolate them. This is being done in line with NSA Chief Ajit Doval’s new policy of how to deal with Kashmir in present circumstances.

State Governor Satya Pal Malik has started implementing Doval doctrine for the resolution of Kashmir dispute and has taken practical steps to make New Delhi visible in Kashmir in the positive shade especially among the youth. Central Government has been trying to wean away support from separatists in Kashmir especially among the youth and they have sent fresh Central funds under Khelo India Scheme to provide better environment for Kashmir youth to come out from the cycle of violence.

Ajit Doval who has been handling Kashmir as intelligence man, has as National Security Advisor (NSA) decided to move away from the `policy of appeasement’ during Vajpayee days upto UPA second innings. Central Government under Prime Minister Narindra Modi has tried to concentrate on visible development in Kashmir Valley rather than doing `any investment in separatists’.

Hurriyat Conference both factions and Yaseen Malik in the past four years have not been allowed to have any contact with public and have been kept under house arrests for most of the time. The Central Government also decided to plug all the Hawala channels to separatists and in his connection, many Hurriyat leaders and their relatives are under detention after arrested by NIA.
