Naikoo said that the biggest challenges to the success of armed struggle in Kashmir were lack of arms and ammunition. He lauded the sacrifices of common people especially of those youth who come to the encounter sites to save the militants from the security forces.

Naikoo also in a way in the audio clip has accused some base camp colleagues of leaking the information about the militants operating in ground. He said that many of his colleagues were killed as they were having a contact with the base camp colleagues who leaked their whereabouts to the security agencies. Naikoo said that Syed Salah-ud-Din and Government of Pakistan will have to come out of present policy of wait and watch and plunge fully into the struggle of people of Kashmir at the crucial juncture.

This is for the first time that Riyaz Naikoo has addressed Syed Salah-ud-Din and Government of Pakistan through the audio clip and has criticized both for doing virtually nothing to keep the armed struggle intact on ground.
