Bloody Thursday leaves eight militants dead in different incidents across j&k
srinagar /jammu/kupwara:-In three different incidents of gunfights and encounters across Jammu and Kashmir, eight militants were killed and several government forces officials were injured. Police said that in Jammu near Katra three militants were killed when they were finally encircled by security forces and police. Police had earlier intercepted the truck in which they were travelling and arrested driver for questioning. In the Sopore gunfight two militants Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) were killed while as during the combing operation police and security forces claimed that they have also recovered arms and ammunition. In Keran sector, police claimed that during an infiltration bid, three militants were killed on the Line of Control(LoC).
