Strike, restrictions cripples life in Kashmir
On the first day of general strike call given by JRL against the perceived tinkering with article 35A life has come to virtual halt on thrusday in Kashmir valley. Authorities have imposed restrictions in downtown Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir especially in south kashmir on thrusday morning to avoid protests and violence . Reports said that in Srinagar city there was no life on the streets as police and security forces were not allowing people to come out in the curfew bound areas.
There are no reports yet about any protests or violence from any part of Kashmir valley. Reports said that there was complete hartal in all the districts of Kashmir valley today.
