JK Governor meets PM, President in New Delhi
New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi, reports said.
Malik took oath last week as the new governor to the trouble torn Jammu and Kashmir replacing N N Vohra.
This was his first visit to New Delhi after taking charge of the state, which is under governor’s rule since June 20 this year.
Governor’s rule followed the PDP led government which had to resign after the BJP pulled out of the coalition on June 19.
