Sehraie appealed people to observe historical shutdown on August 5 and 6
SRINAGAR,: Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH), Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie warned of a serious consequences, of New Delhi tempered with state subject law guaranteed by the Article 35-A. He said the real agenda behind the petition foil against the constitutional provision was no secret and actually a bid to merge internationally recognized disputed Jammu and Kashmir with the union of India.
In his statement issued to PTK Sehraie said the main motive behind this move to change the demography of the Muslim majority state into minority. He said although we are fighting against the forcible Indian occupation, but at the same time we can’t afford to ignore such grave issues which could have deep and severe impacts on disputed land of Kashmir.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman in his statement said since 1947 Indian establishment continuously using their stooges in the form of so-called mainstream to change the unique identity of Kashmir and a recent assault had been witnessed on our economic as well in the form of GST, when PDP was in power.
He said history is testimony that it was during the period of 1954 to 1964 when Jawahar Lal Nehru in power, they reduced article 370 to mere dust. He said on 6 December 1964 when then Home Minister Gulzari Lal himself accepted that article 370 is now a narrow shell and weather it remains or not it will have no impact as its sole is already dead.
Sehraie said that the establishing Shrine Board, Sanik colonies, Pandith colonies with the help of mainstream Indian political stooges was also a part of same conspiracy to weaken its stated position in order to change demography of the state.
Sehraie appealed people to observe a historical shutdown and there must be a complete civil curfew on August 5 and 6 to show total disapproval against this onslaught.
Meanwhile chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH), Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie paid great tributes to the Khimaryaal Kupwara and Sopore martyrs. Wherein our brave hears achieved their martyrdom. In is telephonic address to the massive gathering in Kupwara he said these brave hears laid their precious lives for our better tomorrow and to end Indian brutal occupation. He also extended his condolence to the bereaved families.
