Army, SOG cordon Halmatpora forest area in Kupwara, searches on
Goverment forces on Saturday launched a cordon -and – search operation (CASO) in Halmatpora forests of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 41RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) cordoned off Chek Fateh Khan forests in Halmatpora after “noticing suspicious movement”.
SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambarkar Dinkar confirmed that the forces launched a search operation in the woods, reported GNS news agency.
