Div Com Kmr visits Hajj House, reviews arrangements
SRINAGAR,: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today visited Hajj House Bemina and Airport to review the necessary arrangements being provided to the Hajj pilgrims of Kashmir division including Leh and Kargil.
In Hajj House Bemina, the Divisional Commissioner visited each section to review onspot arrangements made for the pilgrims of Hajj-2018.
He inspected boarding, loading, bedding, food, sanitation sections of the House. He directed the concerned officials to ensure round the clock water and electricity, banking facilities, additional parking facilities, medical facilities and other necessary arrangements to Hajjis.
Khan directed Commissioner SMC to deploy men and machinery for proper sanitation in and around the premises.
Div Com directed DC Srinagar to ensure hassle free all arrangements to the pilgrims of Hajj-2018 at Hajj House Bemina.
Later, Divisional Commissioner visited Srinagar International Airport and inspected onspot facilities for the Hajjis.
He inspected each and every corner of the premises like separate luggage checking counter, site for pitching of tents, special terminal for Hajjis inside the Airport, space available for joint control room cum inquiry counter, separate immigration counter, space for nimaaz and Ahraam wearing, washrooms, currency exchange counter, Medical Camp site and aircraft takeoff location.
He directed DC Budgam to establish joint control room cum inquiry counter in the premises of airport on July 13 besides set up Medical camps with critical care ambulances inside the venue.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed for close coordination between concerned departments so that Pilgrims of Hajj-2018 do not face any difficulty.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Deputy Commissioner Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, CEO State Hajj Committee, Commissioner SMC, Joint Director Information, Deputy Director Health Services, Deputy Director Airport Authourity of India, SP Traffic, SP Airport and other concerned officers were accompanied Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.
