Curfew, restrictions to prevent jrl sponsored protests
Government forces have been deployed in strength in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir especially in south kashmir on Sunday to prevent jrl sponsored protests, coinciding with second death anniversary of Burhan wani authorities imposed curfew in seven police stations in kashmir and imposed strict restrictions in entire south kashmir to prevent protests. The home town of Burhan wani Tral is reeling under curfew for the second running day today. On July 8 2016 Burhan wani along with his two associates in Bamboodara village of Kokernag in south kashmir were killed. His killing triggered massive protests in Kashmir resulting in killing of about 100 protesters and injuries to about 15000 people. The unrest triggered by his killing paralysed life in Kashmir for 6 months.
