Khurshid Ganai is advisor to JK Governor Vohra
Srinagar: A day after resigning from the post of chief information commissioner, retired IAS officer Khurshid Ahmad Ganai was appointed as an advisor to Governor N N Vohra, official sources said on Friday.
As per Government Order No.1070-GAD of 2018 issued by the General Administration Department in this regard appointed Khurshid A. Ganai, IAS (Retd.) as Advisor to the Governor with effect from the date he assumes charge.
“The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, IAS (Retd.) as an advisor with effect from the date he assumes charge,” said the order.
The terms and conditions of his appointment shall be notified separately, the order said.
