Clashes erupt during CASO in Hajin
Clashes erupted after the government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday evening.
Reports said that army, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir and CRPF laid a siege to Bonkhan Mohalla of Hajin town.
Official sources said that fallowing the inputs about the presence of militants in the area, 13RR, SOG of J&K Police and 45bn CRPF launched a joint CASO in Boni khan Area of Hajin at around 5.30 PM.
As the forces launched the CASO youth from different areas assembled and pelted forces with stones which led to clashes.
