Forces allegedly vandalise houses after Shopian IED blast

The villagers of Sugan village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday said that the army’s 44 RR vandalized dozens of houses following an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion that left three army men injured.

Reports said that the forces ransacked several residential houses after the blast.

One of the houses ransacked by the forces, reports said, belongs to Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Zeenat-ul-Islam.

Three army men were injured after militants triggered an IED blast planted near a water tank in the village today morning, police said.

The injured soldiers were rushed to a hospital for treatment, said an official.
