Kargil: After a long time thousands of people were seen on the streets of Kargil on Monday demanding justice for 8-year-old minor of Kathua who was drugged and starved for one week in a temple at Kathua by Hindu fringe elements. MLA Kargil Ashgar Karbalai while talking to Voice of Valley said that people of Kargil will not sit unless justice is not delivered to the family of the victim. He said that Central government was not taking the issue seriously and claimed that even the State Government under pressure of BJP was trying to save the culprits. He said that there is lot of anger among the girls and boys of Kargil and they want speedy justice to the family and will always reject such elements that in the name of religion have not even spared an 8-year-old budding flower.
Reports from many areas of Kargil said that there was lot of protest rallies organized for the justice to the minor of Kathua who was raped and killed by Hindu fringe elements to scare away the Muslim nomads from various hilly areas of Jammu region. Even the BJP Ministers came in support of pro-rapist and now after the two ministers were sacked under pressure, they have again started lending their support to the Hindu Ekta Munch who is an umbrealla of Hindu fringe pressing for the release of all the rape accused.
