Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chief Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai was placed under house arrest at his residence Baghat, Srinagar on Sunday.
According to the sources Sehrai was placed under house arrest at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
Pertinent to mention, JRL had given a valley-wide shutdown call on yesterday against the killings of militants and civilians in Islamabad and Shopian districts of South Kashmir.
