Gunfight rages in three villages at south Kashmir,2 militants killed,2jawans injured so far.
On a specific input of presence of Militants in Dialgam area of Anantnag, Jammu Kashmir Police & Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area. During the operation gun battle erupted between Militants and Forces. During the encounter militants namely Rouf Khandey (urf)@ Umar Hayat was killed and Adil was nabbed alive. Arms and ammunition was recovered from the encounter site. As per sources Rouf Khandey turned down the offer of surrender made by police which lead to his killing.
Meanwhile the Dailgam Operation has been concluded. There are reports of protests in the adjacent areas of Dialgam and Dahruna.
