Anantnag police arrests kidnapper; Recovers kidnapped girl
Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have solved a kidnapping case of a girl in shortest possible time and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
One person (name withheld) resident of Mattan approached Police Station Mattan with a written complaint, wherein it was stated that his niece (name withheld) has been kidnapped by one person namely Ishfaq Ahmad Kumar son of Gul Mohammed Kumar resident of Hogam Mattan.
A case FIR number 21/2018 under section 363-RPC was registered in Police Station Mattan and investigation was started. After hectic efforts, the said girl was recovered from Hogam area of District Anantnag and the accused person was arrested.
After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family members.
