All exams postponed
University of Kashmir board of school education and IUST Avantipora have postponed all the examinations which were slated for March 12 Monday today. Authorities have also closed down all educational institutions in Srinagar city as one of the slain militants was from Soura locality. Police has said that he was involved in killing of a cop who was on security duty of Hurriyat leaders Fazal haq Qureshi at Soura. University of Kashmir have also postponed interviews for adhoc lecturer slated for today. The sudden announcement of authorities to close down educational institutions created confusion on streets of Srinagar on Monday morning. Hundreds of students had to come back home as they had already left for their schools.
