Drug peddler arrested in South Kashmir
Srinagar, March 03:, Anantnag police has arrested a drug peddler in Dooru area of the district. More than 100 Kilograms of fukki along with truck was seized.
Acting on a specific information, a Police party of Police Station Dooru headed by SHO Dooru Shri Mudasir Nazar under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan laid a naka in their jurisdiction. During naka checking, a Truck bearing registration No JKO2V/8927 was intercepted. During search of the vehicle, 103 kilograms of fukki packed in five bags was recovered. Police seized the vehicle and arrested the driver who was identified as Mohammad Javid Khatana son of Mohammad Bashir Khatana resident of Reasi.
A case FIR number 13/18 under section 8/15 NDPS act was registered and investigation is going on.
