LC passes Bill to establish JK Higher Education Council
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 06: The Upper House today passed “A Bill to Provide for the Establishment and Constitution of State Higher Education Council for enforcing, planning, monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance in Universities and other Higher Educational Institutions of the State and for the matters connected therewith and incidental thereto (L.A. Bill NO.1 of 2018)”.
Earlier, the Bill was moved by the Minister of State for Education Priya Sethi. The House passed the bill with a voice vote.
