Pulwama, Shopian remain shut for eighth straight day

Pulwama and shopian districts in south kashmir reamined shut for eighth consective day on thrusday. All shops, commercial establishments including banks remained closed with no public transport on roads. The twin districts are observing shutdown against the civilian killings.

On thrusday morning another 10 year old boy Mushraff succumbed to his injuries adding a new wave of anger in entire south kashmir. Police said that they have deployed additional paramilitary troops in the area after the body of minor boy reached to his village.

Authorities have beefed up security in both the districts and Internet services remain suspended for nineth running day today as precautionry measure to avoid protests and violence.
