02 gamblers held in Sopore, abducted minor girl recovered in South Kashmir

Srinagar, : Sopore Police has arrested two gamblers and recovered stake money of rupees 2530 from the gambling spot. In South Kashmir, Anantnag police recovered an abducted minor girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
Acting on an information, a police party of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam raided a gambling site at Chatloora Rafiabad and apprehended two gamblers who were identified as Mohammad Altaf Dar resident of Maharajpora Sopore and Javaid Ahmad Dar resident of Sher Colony Sopore. Stake money of rupees 2530 was recovered from the gambling spot.
A case FIR number 01/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act registered and investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile Anantnag police recovered an abducted minor girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
One person (name with held) reported in Police Station Srigufwara and stated that his minor daughter, about 13 years old (name with held) was kidnapped by Aasif Ahmad Bhat  son of Mushtaq  Ahmad Bhat  resident of Khirm Bijbehara.
On receipt of this information, a case was registered and investigation under the supervision of SHO Srigufwara was started. After hectic efforts, Anantnag police recovered the minor girl and arrested the accused.
A case FIR number 01/18  under section 363, 109 RPC  was registered and further investigation is going on.
