BSF launches operation alert in Jammu region
After some recent attacks by Pakistani troops all along the border in Jammu region BSF has launched operation alert all along the border with Pakistan in Jammu region.
Inspector general of BSF Jammu frontier, Ram Aftar told media on Thursday that operation alert has been launched to keep vigil on two hundred km long international border in J&K state to curb the attempts of pushing militants by Pakistani troops to this side of the border. He further told media that they have credible inputs about the movement of militants on other side of the border as they were desperate to push in militants to flair up violence in J&K state. IG BSF was speaking to media at the wreath laying ceremony at frontier headquarters in Jammu in the honour of late head constable of BSF who was killed in a sniper firing attack by Pakistani Rangers in Samba sector on Wednesday.
