Cold wave intensifies in kashmir valley

Amid forty days of harsh winter, Srinagar city the summer capital of J&K witnessed coldest night of the season in the precious night.  MET office of Srinagar said that Srinagar was shivering at minus 4.4 degree Celsius according to the MET official all kashmir valley witnessed minus temperatures and cold wave is going to continue as the office has predicted dry weather till January 5. According to MET officials ladakh region continues to be in the grip of cold wave as the leh town witnessed minus 14.5 degree Celsius the previous night. The adjoining Kargil town was reeling under minus 13.
