Cordon lifted as intense clashes break out in pulwama village
Army and security forces lifted seige of Kareemabad village of pulwama on Friday morning as clashes intensified between police and protesting villagers.Reports said that when the security forces laid seige of the village the youth came out on streets to protest they were soon joined by other villagers.
Locals told media that the village of Kareemabad is being targeted by security forces and SOG wing of Jammu and Kashmir state police for being pro resistance. They said that security forces thrashed them including women very often and alleged that they drag them out during night or wee hours in this harsh winter.
