Protests shutdown after divisional commander Jaish killing

Spontaneous shutdown and protests were witnessed on Tuesday morning in Tral and Pampor areas of South Kashmir as the news about the killing of Jaish divisional commander spread across as he was killed in a gunfight with security forces at Sambora village in South Kashmir.
Authorities immediately tried to stop protests and were seen deploying additional reinforcements at all sensitive places in Kashmir as the slain Jaish commander was a local from Tral village of South Kashmir. Police has identified him as Noor Mohammed Tantrai alias Noor Trali who according to police was responsible for many sucked attacks carried by Jaish like Pulwama police camp attack and BSF camp attack near Srinagar airport.
Noor Trali has been involved in many militancy related cases. He was arrested in Delhi in the year 2003 and was sentenced to die by a POTA court in 2011. He jumped parole and rejoined militancy in Kashmir and became the main face of Jaish in South Kashmir.
Director general of state police SP Vaid in a tweet on Tuesday described the killing of Jaish commander as a big breakthrough and disclosed that he was planning with his associates an attack on security convoy on Srinagar Jammu highway near Pampor.
Authorities have just now snapped Internet services in entire South Kashmir and have suspended rail service as a precautionary measure to contain protests and violence in the area.
