Police assures action, regrets thrashing of medico by its officer.
The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday In reference to the Qazigund incident has regretted and has assured the necessary action towards the alleged cop.
Doctors Association Kashmir(DAK) and Jammu Kashmir Doctors Coordination Committee(JKDCC) spokesman in a statement said that one of our doctor fighting all odds of “Chillai Kalan” at Emergency Hospital Qazigund was threatened by Deputy Superintendent of police(DSP) Qazigund.
The DSP, a law protector rather than giving protection to the public is a threat to the society. The DSP not only threatens him but wants to implicate him in false rape cases, the statement read.
The police spokesman said police officer allegedly involved in the incident has been directed to report to the DIG office SKR for an enquiry.
