Clashes disrupt search operation at churath village of Kulgam
Intense clashes between security forces and youth in churath village of Devtbesar in Kulgham district has disrupted the search operation launched jointly by army and security forces on Friday evening.
Earlier army cordoned the area after credible inputs about the presence of militants in the village. When they were trying to lay seige, militants opened fire triggering intense gunfight. Reports said that after the intense protest and clashes there was no firing going on in the village. More details about the incident are awaited.
