Friday morning reverberates with mortar shelling in Poonch sector
For the second running day on Friday indian and Pakistani troops started exchange of fire in Poonch sector. The continued fring has filled the border villagers with fresh fears of migration to safer places.
Reports said that heavy mortar shelling was going on till this report was being filed.it is in place to mention that recently high level team from union home ministry visited Jammu region and promised the affected border residents of rehabilitation package. Hundreds of border area schools could not complete the syllabus of students as in the current year they were shut down repeatedly due to cross border firing.
