Army, SOG ring Garoora village of Bandipora
13 RR along with SOG wing of Jammu and Kashmir police have laid seige of Dar Mohalla of Garoora area in Bandipora district in the wee hours of thrusday. Reports said that all male members were herded out from thier houses in the extereme cold conditions and house to house searches were being conducted. Locals of the area said that they are facing lot of harassment at the hands of security forces and SOG.
Search operation was going on till this report was being filed. Garoora is ancestral village of PDP works minister and official spokesman for state government, Naeem Akhtar.
