Kund adjacent villages tense after clashes and fresh operation
The villagers in Kund and adjacent areas in Kulgham district alleged that army and security forces thrashed them including women and children after Thier anti militancy operation was over on Tuesday. In that gunfight one jawan and one militant was killed.
As the villagers were on street protesting against the alleged excesses, army and security forces launched a fresh operation in the forests of the same area as they have reports that some militants during Tuesday gunfight escaped to forests and we’re hiding there.
The search operation was going on till this report was being filed.
