CM Mehbooba Mufti is trying to reverse the trend in rural kashmir to get some political space back by trying to listen directlyrics from public delegations about their problems. Opposition main stream parties and separatists have described here public darbars as eye wash. Congress president who hails from South Kashmir’s has said that Mehbooba was conducting PDP darbars. Ghulam Ahmed Mir has said so after many delegations told media that the PDP leaders and ministers were allowing only those delegations to meet Mehbooba who will demand those facilities which have been already sanctioned. CM has not been able to wipe tears of any family who has demanded the release of their ward. From Kupwara custodial case to continued arrest of 80 year old ailing person of Sopur she has not been able to provide any relief to such suffering families

In her latest outreach she was in Anantnag and Pahalgham for two days. She was shocked to know about the slow pace of development in south kashmir. Some of the development work which was scheduled to have been completed is still not done.she along with her officers tried to remove many bottlenecks to get some works completed.

Mehbooba was told that army has not vacated the land despite orders from prime minister office.she took up the matter with defense minister who was also at Pahalgam on Sunday. Army has not vacated about 500 kanals of land at Fatehagarh in Anantnag district and the work on the university campus could not be started.

Despite lot of hype being given to public outreach programme of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, on ground there is no visible change either on development front or on the emotional front as the sufferings of general public are only increasing.
