Unknown gunmen shot policeman in North Kashmir
Srinagar:
A policeman sustained bullet injuries after suspected militants attacked him near DC office in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Thursday, sources said.
Police sources confirmed the incident and said that the cop received critical injuries in the attack and he was rushed to hospital.
The Special Police Officer (SPO) identified as Ranbir Singh alias Tony Singh is a resident of Singhpora, Ashmuqam.
