Interlocutor meets Omer

The interlocutor for Jammu and Kashmir appointed by the government of India Dineshwar Sharma Wednesday met former chief minister, and NC leader Omar Abdullah at his residence.
“Dineshawar Sharma & I met at my residence in Srinagar this morning. We discussed the prevailing situation in the state as also steps that can be taken to make his visits to the state more meaningful,” tweeted Omar.
‘I put forward certain things & he agreed to consider them because if you just sit at the guest house & wait for ppl to come nothing will happen. Hope when he comes next his efforts will increase omar said.
Sharma is on his first visit to the valley after he was appointed as interlocutor to start dialogue with all the “stakeholders” to know their “political aspirations”.
Pertinently, pro-freedom leaders have boycotted him however dozens of “deputations” called on him in last two days.
Sharma is scheduled to reach Jammu on Thursday.
