SC to hear petition on Article 35-A on Monday
Karra arrives in Delhi for hearing
Srinagar, Oct 28: Supreme Court will hear the contentious petition on Article 35-A on Monday after the hearing was postponed due to Diwali.
Senior Congress Leader Tariq Hameed Karra has arrived in New Delhi to appear in Supreme Court in connection with petition challenging 35-A of Jammu and Kashmir constitution.
The hearing was deferred earlier and is now slated on Monday. Karra will be there as amicus curie and will be represented by his legal counsel, however senior congress leader himself will be present in the court.
Karra had approached Supreme Court and requested the Apex court to be heard in defence of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
