Shutdown in kashmir on call of JRL
Kashmir is observing shutdown on the call of joint resistance leadership today. The call of shutdown and black day was given jointly by syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik as on the same day indian army landed on Srinagar airport in 1947.
Reports said that all shops, restaurants and business establishments are closed in all main towns and district headquarters. public transport and even the private vehicles were off the roads.
While kashmir is observing the landing of troops as black day there was huge celebration like Diwali in Jammu region on October 26 as accession day as on the same day maharaja Hari Singh signed instrument of accession with indian union.
