Five injured in army firing over braid chopping incident
Police said that on Wednesday morning an alleged braid chopper entered into a house at sofipora in Wulerhama area of Anantnag district and a woman became victim (name withheld ) triggering protests in the area.
Reports said that when people caught hold of alleged braid chopper army vehicle came to the rescue of him.people pelted stones on the army vehicle claimed police. Locals said that army opened fire on protesting villagers and claimed that they took alleged braid chopper with them.
Locals said that many of them have received bullet injuries but police sources confirmed only bullet injuries to five persons. As the news about army protecting the alleged braid chopper reached to nearby villages massive protests were going on till reports last reached here.
