All handed over to police were innocent says police chief

Director  general of state police S P Vaid told media on tuesday that they can not book innocent people for braid chopping incidents in kashmir valley. He said that all the suspects were released as there was no evidence against them.

Appealing people and society at large to cooperate he said that without witnesses and cooperation there can be no headway to arrest the braid choppers.

While the braid chopping incidents are on increase and today alone several army men were thrashed by mobs for being alleged braid choppers. The protests are taking violent turn and in Srinagar city there were protests by people and police used force to disperse them.
