Dozens injured in litter protests two lashkar militants killed

The situation in litter village of Pulwama is tense as dozens of villagers were injured in firing done by army and security forces at encounter site on Saturday.

Reports said that as soon as army and security forces cordoned off litter village, hundreds of villagers including women and children came on streets chanting anti india salogens. Reports said that it resulted in intense stone pelting. forces responded by teargas shells and finally fired on crowd resulting in bullet injuries to many people.

Police said that they have killed the holed up militants and have identified one of them as lashkar commander from Heff village of Shopian. more details are awaited.
