Heavy shelling in Poonch sector
Authorities said that on Friday morning indian and Pakistani troops exchanged heavy artillery fire in Poonch sector. Police said that some shells were landing in the houses of people living in forward areas.
District authorities of Poonch have decided to close all educational institutions in the forward areas. A senior official told vov that they are ready to accommodate the displaced families from the affected area.
Latest reports said that in Krishna ghati sector of Poonch heavy shelling has started again on Friday morning.
