Police appeal people not to pay heed to rumours
Police on thrusday morning appealed people not to pay any attention to rumours being spread about braid choppers and some victims. Police said that Habbakadal girl is safe and rumours about her death were being spread to fan trouble and violence in Srinagar. Police said that they have arrested one person Abid Ahmad Saudagar from downtown on the charge of spreading the false news of death of braid chopping victim.
Talking to Vov a senior police officer said that in past two days they have registered FIRS against the trouble mongers at different places for spreading rumours and inciting violence.he appealed people not to pay any heed to rumours aimed at inciting violence and unrest.
