Case filed against Prakash Raj for calling PM ‘bigger actor’ than him

A case has been registered against actor Prakash Raj in a Lucknow Court on a complaint by a lawyer over his reported remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prakash Raj had earlier said that PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are better actors than him.
He also said he wanted to give back his National Awards which are deserved by ‘bigger actors’ like the PM.
His made the comments while speaking at the 11th state meet of the Democratic Youth Federation of India in Bengaluru.
He questioned Modi’s silence over senior journalist Gauri Lankesh’s murder.
However, after facing flak on social media, he later clarified that he doesn’t belong to any political party and he isn’t a ‘fool to return my national awards’.(Agencies)
