Militant few months old surrenders in Shopian
Police said that when at the encounter site they ringed one holed up militant from all sides he surrendered. Police identified the surrendered militant as from lashkar and said that he joined militant ranks in month of May this year.
Some locals from Shopian said that Adil was being harassed by police and security forces and he finally joined lashkar ranks in month of July 2017 and was not even knowing how to handle arms.they said that for two months he was hiding to avoid arrest.
Police said that Adil surrendered after he was assured by police that he would not be killed.
