Restrictions in downtown, Mirwaiz under house arrest
Authorities on Friday morning decided to impose restrictions in five police stations of srinagar city as Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has given call for protests after Friday prayers against the killing of Rohingia Muslims.
Fearing protests and violence authorities surprised people of downtown on Friday morning when they imposed restrictions by sealing the area by concertina wires.
Authorities have already kept Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest and latest news from the area said that Jamia Masjid srinagar was being sealed by police as there would be no Friday prayers today in this main mosque of srinagar city.
