Geelani expresses sorrow over killingof Amarnath pilgrims in road accident
SRINAGAR:-Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has expressed deep sorrow over the death of sixteen Amarnath pilgrims in an accident on Srinagar- Jammu highway on Sunday.
In a statement, issued here today, Geelani expressed solidarity with the next kin of those killed in the accident.
Sixteen pilgrims were killed and over 35 others injured after their bus plunged into a gorge on the highway near Banihal.
He said rising accidents were a matter of grave concern.
